IRENE: UPDATING IN FULL RESPECT OF OUR HISTORICAL LEGACY

Everyday objects which become an opportunity for an innovative approach

Comfort and the pleasure of aesthetics, beauty, ergonomics, sustainability and innovation all coexisting in harmony in a process where design culture is at the heart of our strategy.

We have always sought to offer perfection and today, at a particularly multifaceted and changing time, we are asked to keep our tradition alive, respecting its historical legacy but offering elements of structural, conceptual and strategic innovation.

And I would like to pay homage to our longlastingi cultural and manufacturing tradition, while emphasising the importance of developing a new entrepreneurial vision which addresses changing lifestyles, cultural transformations and the new values which have emerged over the last decade.

From this renewed approach, I see a present which is already the future and with it comes our new overall vision of RG's production: with Cristina Bernacchi's art direction, we have undergone a redefinition, starting from the photo shoots where the products have not only been placed in decontextualised and unusual settings - the Tepidarium, the Roman Theatre of Fiesole and the Marble Quarries - but have themselves been hybridised and influenced by contemporary fabrics and finishings.

The production of upholstered furniture in particular takes on a specific value, due to its very composition and the plurality of elements that compose it, allowing for experimentation and investment in the search for new materials, new styles and new markets.
