Red, fiery red, cadmium red, vermillion, crimson, carmine, garnet, burgundy. Red, with its infinite shades, represents the colour of life and energy, the magical and alchemistic tonality which unleashes ardour and an impulsive and generous drive.
Energy, beauty, courage and passion: we wanted all of these in our absolute red, festive interior where the ruby red of the silk velvet emphasises and complements the sumptuous Tuscan-style Louis XV sofa; the sofa in dialogue with the refined antique decapé gold of the woodcarving, a combination enhanced by the shimmering, vibrant hand-woven red and gold marabou border.
On the floor, casting its warm vermilion light, the hexagonal-based Renaissance candelabrum finished in Pitti silver, while the French neoclassical wall applique depicts in light silver the typical and classic hunting symbols, torch and quiver with arrows, on the red wall. A white bust on the neoclassical column completes the atmosphere of our fiery red Christmas.
